This is a 3 book set. A good way to read these books in order.

Beverly Lewis is the author who best portrays the Amish people. I live near the Amish and Beverly does an excellent of making you feel like you are right there living the Amish life. I have read some Amish fiction by other authors and they need to visit the People to get the feel of what their lives are really like.

You will not go wrong by reading this book...I plan to read mine again in the near future.

Although I enjoyed the three books in this set, they weren't anything outstanding. I'm glad that all three books were included in this set, because the plot in each individual novel is pretty thin. I recently read "Plain Truth" by Jodi Picoult and learned much more about the Amish lifestyle from that story, in addition to having better characters and a good mystery.
