An outstanding spy thriller whose plot gets generated from two events: an out-of-the-blue Russian walk-in at the US Embassy in Rome and a long-ago indiscretion by the spy father of the CIA agent in charge in Rome.

Suspenseful, and surprising in parts. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good spy thrillers.
