This book has over 600 pages, but once I started reading it, I could not put it down. Not for 5 minutes. I've enjoyed all of the Camel Club series, and this was one of the best. The twists just keep on coming, and at the end of every chapter, you feel you just HAVE to know what is coming next.

This fifth novel in the Camel Club series overall is a great read. Oliver Stone, the informal leader of the Camel Club, is put in a position he cannot refuse by going back into the world of government work. This time, he must solve the mystery of who is behind the bomb in Layfayette Park (a.k.a. Hell's Corner).

A new female character - Mary Chapman - is along for the ride. As Baldacci has proven in his prior novels, he can wield a suspenseful tale that keeps you anticipating the action on the next page. Great twists along the way, with may one too many to conclude the story. Not one for 5 stars, but definitely a 4 star contender for fans of the Camel Club gang.

The latest addition to the Camel Club series, featuring John Carr who I admit is somewhat of a super-hero, but that's why I love the series. A real getaway from every day life. Fast story and energetic. Can't wait for the next installment in the series.

David Baldacci never fails to entertain you. That is more than true for this thriller. When CIA assassin, Oliver Stone, gets rehired by the agency to attack the Mexican drug cartels, he gets waylaid by an explosion at Lafayette Park across from the White House. This takes him on a wild ride to solve this new crime. There are more red herrings than you can keep track of. A very complex and entertaining thriller!

I have read all of David Baldacci's books. They are great reading and Hell's Corner fits right in with his others. Once you have read a few chapters to learn the characters this book takes off and whoever reads it will not put it down. It's good reading to the very end. Enjoy !!

To those who love the Camel Club: get ready....this has got to be the most involved, twisted plot and exciting book to date! This has pushed the Camel Club up several notches in my estimation and it was already fairly high. You will learn more about John Carr (Oliver Stone) and his former life as a triple 6 agent into the bargain. This book gets an A+ from me, which is high since I read this genre all the time.

This is the last book in The Camel Club series which I liked the best. Oliver Stone is asked by the President to track down the source of a terrorist attack and navigate a shadowy world of betrayal and political secrets. A bomb explodes in Lafayette Park in front of the White House and Stone is given an urgent assignment: find those responsible. British MI-6 agent Mary Chapman becomes his partner in the search for the unknown attackers. Stone enlists the help of the only people he knows he can trust: the Camel Club.
If you want to read this series, it is best to start with book 1 entitled The Camel Club. The whole series is entertaining and exciting and I highly recommend reading it.

Baldacci's Camel Club series is one of the best reads of which Hell's Corner is book 5 of 5. Series includes in order; Camel Club, The Collectors, Stone Cold, Divine Justice & Hell's Corner. Written over a multiyear period with books in between and whether or not his publisher insisted on sequels it's a great series.

The president promises Oliver Stone that if he succeeds on his mission, he "will never have to worry about your government knocking on your door again." Is there any way we can force Baldacci to stick with that? After all, if a president, even a fictional one, promises something....

This is the last in the series of Oliver Stone books. I have enjoyed all of these Camel Club books. I hope there are more to come. Some of the books in this series are a little improbable but make for good reading and the character are all likeable. I do think you would have to read the other books in this series in order to enjoy this one.

Baldacci's done it again. The government has enlisted Oliver Stone's (john Carr) help. The President has asked him and is backing him against other Government officials who want nothing to do with him. The book starts with Oliver walking through Lafayette Park. Suddenly, gunfire erupts and then a massive explosion. What a beginning!
