I just love this book. It's full of spectacular photos of the crochet cats in a wide variety of poses and silly situations along with cute storylines. There's clear instructions on how to make both the small and the larger versions of the amineko (crochet cat). The instructions are written more in a table format, rather than wordy, but it's very easy to follow.
In the book there are clear directions on creating, putting together, and finishing your kitty. A small section on facial expressions and another on poses. There's another section included on how to make sewn accessories such as clothing and bedding.
There is no crochet diagram, but that can be found on Nekoyama's website in English and Japanese.
