Loved this book! Janet Evanovich partners up with Lee Goldberg in a new series featuring Nick Fox, a well-known and wanted con man, and FBI Agent Kate O'Hare, who was a previous special-forces soldier, headed up the team to track him down.
After being caught, Nick makes a deal to help Kate bring in other wanted criminals through his special con-man expertise. The obvious sexual tension between these two just adds to their relationship and, so far, the series doesn't get mushed up with stupied romance. As a team, Nick and Kate are perfect together and the stunts they plan and pull off are excellent.
This book takes the reader through various countries and action. An excellent, quick read, especially for a vacation book, with great humor thrown in.

I am an avid reader/lover of all of Janet Evanovich's books, however, I could barely get halfway through this one and finally just gave up. Very disappointing.

Meh...I wanted to like this book, it really had all of the components to be a funny and interesting book, but I really did not enjoy it and it to me was way low on the funny and interesting. It looks like it was a crack at another Stephanie Plum but it fell way short. I will not invest time in the series.

I thought this book was pretty good. Very clever, but a bit complicated with all the characters and details of the con. I love the Stephanie Plum series and this is not as funny but is still enjoyable. I did have a few laugh out loud moments. The main female character is not as ditzy as Stephanie Plum and I liked her a lot. I wish there would have been a bit more romance involved. The main characters are hot for each other but there is only one brief kiss that occurs. I would recommend this book and I am going to pick up the next in the series.

FBI Special Agent Kate O'Hare is known for her fierce dedication and discipline on the job, chasing down the world's most wanted criminals and putting them behind bars. Her boss thinks she is tenacious and ambitious; her friends think she is tough, stubborn, and maybe even a bit obsessed. And while Kate has made quite a name for herself for the past five years the only name she's cared about is Nicolas Fox -- an international crook she wants in more ways than one.
Audacious, handsome, and dangerously charming, Nicolas Fox is a natural con man, notorious for running elaborate scams on very high-profile people. At first he did it for the money. Now he does it for the thrill. He knows that the FBI has been hot on his trail -- particularly Kate O'Hare, who has been watching his every move. For Nick, there's no greater rush than being pursued by a beautiful woman . . . even one who aims to lock him up. But just when it seems that Nicolas Fox has been captured for good, he pulls off his greatest con of all: He convinces the FBI to offer him a job, working side by side with Special Agent Kate O'Hare.
Problem is, teaming up to stop a corrupt investment banker who's hiding on a private island in Indonesia is going to test O'Hare's patience and Fox's skill. Not to mention the skills of their ragtag team made up of flamboyant actors, wanted wheelmen, and Kate's dad. High-speed chases, pirates, and Toblerone bars are all in a day's work . . . if O'Hare and Fox don't kill each other first.
