For some reason I preordered this book way back in August. I haven't read all of the books in this series but I wanted to read about the man responsible for sending all the Chatsfield siblings out into the world. The H was brought in by the Chatsfield patriarch to sort out the hotel chain and somehow his wayward offspring. I was prepared for the alpha male thing but he was pretty unlikeable for a large part of the book. I realise that he had to be strong and ruthless because his skill was turning companies around then moving on. He just doesn't treat the h very nicely at all. The h wasn't loveable either though, she had such a chip on her shoulder about being the one who should be running the company. She and the H spend a lot of time in conflict, which eventually wore on my nerves. The h was the 'good' child and had been largely responsible for bringing up her younger siblings after her mother disappeared. Most of her siblings have found their hea's in other books in this series. Honestly I read this story a few days back and am having trouble remembering it, other than for the fact that I ultimately didn't care too much for the main characters or their hea. This was not a romantic story.
