This is probably one of Gould's "headier" books, and requires full concentration when reading. My library edition, complete with plastic cover and insert card, probably has only been read by the die-hard fans of Stephen Jay Gould and his adversaries. Get it here to test drive for free if you are a fan of evolution, natural history or finding good things in past scientists works and words.
