An adorable musing on the meaning of life and happiness. It is simple in every sense: short, simply written, simple character. But the findings and statements can sometimes knock you off your seat with their simplistic profoundness. That being said, I was not driven to finish this book, it was simply the book that sat in my desk at work for when it was slow.

A simple and sweet book about the quest for happiness, told through the voice of a psychiatrist, who has embarked on a journey around the world to discover what makes a variety of different people and cultures, happy. The results of this journey is a numbered list of the experiences, actions, and circumstances that make all of us happy. I jotted down this list of twenty or so things in my journal as simple take-aways from this book. A quick and simple read....a bit 'hokey' at times, but still enjoyable and beneficial!

This is a sweet sijmplistic look at happiness. The journey to what may still be questionable happiness is the magic of the book. Looking forward to the next installment when Hector seeks love.
