This book really helped me to understand that your soul has a body.. Not the other way around.. Your body does not have a soul... Your soul leaves the body upon death.. This book helps you to understand the love that God has for you... I connected a lot with Mary C. Neal MD... I did not have a death experience but I had a by-pass surgery and I felt the peace and comfort of God... She tells her life's spiritual journey and account of Her death, Heaven, Angels and Life again.. I found this a very good read.. Opens your mind and heart...

I really did not like this book. It was not what I expected, but I rarely not finish a book. This book left me very unfulfilled.

After reading all of the Sylvia Browne (renowned psychic) books and receiving great peace and spirituality, I was looking forward to reading this book to continue the lovely experience and connection, however, this book was such a horrible disappointment. Not because of the descriptions and experience Mary Neal had during her death from drowning, but from the lack thereof. Ms. Neal spends more time talking about her alive life and preaching instead of offering insight, hope, and peace about our death on Earth and homecoming on the Other Side. I, honestly, did not finish the book as I was tired of hearing about her "middle class" (quote, unquote) life, consisting of world travel and experiences with the family, as well as allowing and paying for the children to also travel the globe on their own. This family, consisting of two physicians/surgeons, has no concept of real life middle class. I would have been willing to ignore this if only the rest of the book was what it promised to be. I should have paid attention to the other reviews; oh well, live and learn, I guess.
