An older book, but excellent murder mystery told not from the detective's viewpoint, but the journalist who is writing about the serial killer. This is the 2nd John Katzenbach I've read and I have to read the rest of his books. Outdated here and there with references to electric typewriters and historical data from the early 80's, but well worth reading. The book is well-written and the characters are very well done.
