I am someone who was homeschooling when most people were scared to do so. Being blessed with a second set of children, I began the journey once again as a very well seasoned and someone who mentored massive amounts of other homeschool families. I didn't think I would learn anything new, until I read this book. It totally changed my approach to homeschooling. It made great sense to me to study history chronologically with the view of how it affected God's people, including units on Creation and Israel, which most Christian homeschool curriculums tend to omit. Science is studied with wonderful unit studies as well according to the days of creation. I know homeschooling is very individual, but I recommend this to everyone; I have found it a joy to use the methodology it taught me, as well as keeping focused on a truly Biblical approach. Superior, although could use some updating with the resources, the website for HOW incorporates the updates. I found the resources recommended to be so wonderful I started collecting them all!
