This was an up close and personal look at the military life of a married couple. It is also an indepth look at both of their families. It was a little slow in places, but overall an interesting book to read. The reader for this book was excellent. I felt like I really knew the characters in the book by the end.

I really enjoyed this memoir and learned even more about military life than I already know, being married to someone who retired from the U.S. Navy! This audiobook was easy to follow.
