An amazing book about a girl who dares her boyfriend to jump from the top of a waterfall into the pool below. But this dare turns deadly and it kills her boyfriend whom she loved with all her heart. In the following days she in consumed with so much grief that her boyfriend comes back as a ghost to try and help her move past the grief, but she doesn't see it that way. This book is written in verse so it is a very quick read, and you want to keep reading it as this book tugs at your heart and makes you want to find out how she deals with the pain from day to day. A wonderful story with a powerful message.

This book turned out to be awful and after halfway through I just gave up. The concept of the plot and poetry form sounded really interesting at first, but all the poetry did was cover up bad writing. Will not looking for anything by this author in the future.

I've had I Heart You, You Haunt Me sitting on my shelf for some time now. I tend to steer away from emotional books because well because I'm pretty emotional myself, and I usually end up crying. I'm happy to report that while reading I Heart You, You Haunt Me I didn't shed a single tear. Yay! This is the first book I've read by Lisa Schroeder and it will not be my last. I Heart You, You Haunt Me is a novel written in verse. I have to say that I love novels written in verse. They are super quick to get through and there is just something special about them.

I Heart You, You Haunt Me tells the story of fifteen year old, Ava, who is desperately trying to cope with the death of her boyfriend, Jackson. Ava is heartbroken and blames herself for Jackson's death. I really liked Ava. I cannot even begin to imagine what it feels like to lose someone you love and at the same time know that at one point or another you HAVE to move on. Life really does go on. Ava finds herself stuck in the moment. She is unable to move on and at times I felt like she was disconnecting from the world. With the help of her parents, her friends, and even Jackson, Ava, was able to say good-bye and pull through.

I Heart You, You Haunt Me was a sweet and heartfelt story. It ended on a positive and hopeful note, which makes me happy. I am one of those who likes 'happy endings' and I got one here.

Loved, loved, loved this book so much that I am writing a review for it! I read it in a day. Gave it to a friend - she read it in 3 hours. Great story. Well written in a unique, perfect way. I was even thinking that it should be on high school reading lists. Cannot wait to read more from this author.
