This book does have some great ideas, but not everything is "healthy". It really depends on what your looking for. If your looking for healthy foods to feed a picky eater, not so much, but if your looking for fun snacks for an already healthy eater, it could just be what you're looking for.
When was the last time your kids sat down to a nutritious, home-cooked meal or snack and said, "Wow, that looks great -- I can't wait to eat it!" Now bestselling author Penny Warner presents more than 200 tasty, good-for-you treats, meals, snacks, and beverages that will have even the pickiest of eaters gobbling up healthful foods, including vegetables!
Each quick, easy-to-make recipe packs in vitamins, complex carbohydrates, protein, and other essential nutrients that children need, while appealing to a child's sense of fun and adventure. Also included are helpful hints on getting kids to eat, tips on reducing levels of fat, salt, and sugar in kids' diets, and games to play at the table for mealtime fun.
