"For new parents, Dr. Kartzinel provides helpful guidelines on how to best protect their child from developing autism."

Junk science, in one sentence.

Autism is not caused by something - the vaccine theory has been debunked, even by the same scientists that started the theory.

It just HAPPENS. The best thing a parent can do is keep track of their child's development from the start, and if a diagnosis comes, start intervention as soon as possible. Continue treatment throughout the child's lifetime, even if they seem "better" - not keeping on track can derail their progess in the future.

How do I know this? Well, it's not because I have a child with autism.

It's because I AM the child with autism.

The last thing a desperate parent or newly-diagnosed person needs is "advice" from a quack and a misinformed celebrity that assumes that what's good for their kid is good for all. This book will only do a great disservice to you and the autism community. There are plenty of reputable resources out there.
