It may not be a surprise that vegetables are good for you. This books outlines the specific vitamins, macronutrients, and phytochemicals in various foods and how your system utilizes them. Some information is a bit dated, so be careful on putting the advice into practice without doublechecking it. A nice spin for this book is that she focuses on the positive values of foods, and spends almost no time explaining what's bad for your and why.
