This is an excellent book to be used as a guide. It can give you many ideas for designing your own program as well.

1998 edition of more than 200 healing centers, spas & retreat centers in the USA & Canada, at a wide range of prices, some as low as $100. Written by the former editor of SPA Magazine. Each page lists a different center, with web sites, phone #, all details/ accomodations, nearby attractions, etc. Just reading the book is like a get-away!

Copyright 1998, so listings are out of date and require research for use. However, book can give an idea of where to find health retreats. When up-to-date, this was a terrific book. I have not been able to find a current guide specific to the US.
