Mesmerizing. Twists and turns and just when you think it's over and you are exhausted from emotions there is more to be revealed. This is a story of time through love, grief, betrayal, and love again. The house would have had to of been on fire for me to lay this book down once I stared reading. When I finished I closed the book, stretched my back, reopened the cover and read it once more.I absolutely loved this book. For whom ever does decide to read it don't pass up reading at least the first page of the acknowledgments to learn how this story came about. It had me in tears. Thank you Mr. Greene for entertaining me in every aspect with your novel.

An interesting story with an unreliable narrator. This would have been a one-sitting read, but I took some Nyquil about a third of the way through.

This is a book about relationships and how they change. When change occurs the lives of those involved is altered. It's a book about grief, too, and how two people cope with the loss of their child. One becomes stronger, living for the lost son while the other turns inside as he tries to understand what happened in his life. The cover blurb suggests that love conquers grief. Perhaps. I found the story interesting and until the very end did not understand what was really happening. It's a quick read that gives the reader time to reflect on what he/she may have lost, too.

I really enjoyed this book. Sometimes I find changing POV a little indulgent and unneccesary, but this book was engaging and kept me up late a couple of nights reading it.

This story starts out like an accident scene, I wanted to turn away but couldn't. Although the writing is not sparse, there is no waste it is a near perfect book and a very unusual story. I liked the ending- a statement of character.
