If you have read and enjoyed the Troubleshooters series, you'll probably enjoy this book. If you're not familiar with it either go read it because it's a great one or skip this book because it won't make a lot of sense to you. Go in knowing it's most short stories, some of which are very short, but still able to move me to tears. There is also a glossary of terms, author interviews, and 2 previews of upcoming titles. I don't know that I've ever a book like this with so many different types of content in one place, but it's great to be able to pick up and set down if you don't have big chunks of time to devote to uninterrupted reading.

The books was fine. Most of the short stories had already been published in other books so I'd already read them and already owned them. Brockmann has always been a masterful storyteller and this book is no exception. My 3 1/2 stars is only because of the lack of new material in this book.
I originally got this as an e-book and thought it was overpriced given the small amount of new material. I was unwilling to pay full price for the print form and am thrilled I was able to get it here. I have all of her Troubleshooter books in both formats and wanted to keep up with the collection but I never would have paid full price twice for this particular book.
