While this book wasnt as scary as I had thought it would be, It was a "keep you reading until the last page" type of book. I loved this book... It is a honest account of a family living in a house with paranormal occurances. There was nothing exagerated about the family's story!!! It's a must read for anyone who is into this subject!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that this was not the scariest haunted house story I have ever read. But interesting nonetheless and the story did hold my attention. She has a very easy to read style of writing that just seemed to flow along. I personally thought she was very matter of fact about what was happening in her home, I never could of lived the life she did in her house.

Great true story of a family's life in a haunted house. While not the scariest account I've ever read, it's still enough to give you goosebumps!

A riveting, page-turning read. Waking up to ghosts watching you at your bedside? No thank you. Disruptions in the middle of the night? Another red flag. Your pet terrified of a specific part of the house? Alarming. These spine-chilling instances had me sleeping with the light on. Even though I'm endlessly fascinated by the subject, I just don't get how people can live in haunted houses. Reading about them suits me just fine. And for goodness sake, if you're ever looking to buy an old Victorian house, you might want to reconsider if it has an exceedingly high owner turnover. 3.5 stars.
