I've always loved Alice Munro, but this took me forever to finish. My favorite story by far was the last one, The Bear Came Over the Mountain and I can totally see why it was chosen to make into a movie (Away From Her). My second favorite story was the second to last one, Queenie. I like how all these characters and stories are so different, but all share the same domestic frankness.
