I will be branded the usual stuff by saying the obvious, but I could care less.... For now, we are still free to express opinions ...

1.
This book is full of hate and racism. Please look up the word in Oxford dictionary; When promoting one race above other, or marginalizing one race it is racism. Promoting one color (brown) superiority and spewing hateful stuff at whites, fits the dictionary description of racism. Anyone spewing the ideology that those who can claim inherit-race-victimhood are exempt to do as they please is self-delusional. There are white people who have been enslaved and prayed upon by the Maurs long before Columbus arrived in America. To tell someone that they are deplorable human beings because they have a certain body characteristic, and despite the fact that they are the descendants of those (white) people victimized by African Maurs, while the descendants of the Maurs are yelling insults at them is Orwelian. But alas such scenes are plentiful in this peace of garbage. If White person behaved the way the protagonists in this book do, said white person would be in jail, like for 150 years....

2.
I consider this book to be a soft porn with all the sexual language used. (How is this YA I will Never understand).

The cussing is rampant. It's like the author(or ghost writer) sat in front of a CPU and found every cliche and stereotype imaginable and some and logged them into this text. I strongly doubt I could sit with any of my friends and come up with all this.

3.
The constant reference to âBlack Jesusâ is highly questionable. And really annoying, considering that the characters perpetually spew Black Jesus but show ZERO respect for Christian faith and do not seem to be followers of any true faith doctrines. Black Jesus is just another superficial ghost used as needed and discarded when inconvenient.

4.
Its suposedd to show a strong family oriented father. BUT The father doesn't run his home, he is shooshed by his wife every time he starts to talk. In the end its his Uncle raising the daughter.
