Normally I'm a fan of unrequited love that eventually turns into something that's, well, um, not-unrequited.
But, when I'm reading something like that, it's usually unrequited on the protagonists side.

Not to spoil it all, but this time, it wasn't quite what I was used to, and it made the ending all the sweeter.

That's not to say that the book was drop down amazing. Things got settled a little too neatly. I would really have rather had some more plot, and a smidgen less porn.
Still, it pulled at the heartstrings and all that fluffy stuff.
It did make me happy to read it, and it did end up firmly on my keeper shelf.
