It may not be fair to give a review after you know you are clearly not the right audience for a book. I don't like romances. Someone I know recommended this because of its fantasy elements. But I found it sappy, full of characters without two brain cells to rub together, and lost all patience with it after the reveal of the big giveaway. Maybe it got better.
