Despite some problems I have with the content, Max Collins' "Nathan Heller" books are page turners. What really impressed me about this book was Heller only had sex with one, maybe two women, and even then only once or twice. In fact, "Heller" mentions, as these books are his memoirs, that people have complained about his reporting on his frequent sexual exploits in previous books.

I've mentioned myself, in numerous reviews here on the Nathan Heller books, how tiring it was to read about Heller's sex life, often with famous female personalities. Hey, maybe Max Collins is a member here and read those reviews? :-)

Still, sex sells, and Collins has received numerous awards for his books based on other criteria. Whereas, I wouldn't even know how to start a mystery novel. Oh, wait. How about "It was a dark and stormy night..."
