Thomas C. (MetalElf) - , reviewed Harlan Ellison's the City on the Edge of Forever: The Original Teleplay That Became the Classic Star Trek Episode on
Helpful Score: 2
Harlan Ellison submitted the original script to Gene Roddenberry for episode submission. Gene Roddenberry re-wrote parts of the script then used the final story for the episode. This book is Harlan Ellison's gripe 20 plus years after the fact.
Having great respect for Harlan Ellison's previous work I jumped into this expecting the same level of writing. Instead, it comes over as whiny and unprofessional. I also wouldn't recommended this book to young readers; as practically every other word is profanity. In my own opinion, I wasted my money on this one.
