love this series but this story was a big disappointment. For almost 3/4 of the book all the hero (?) did was snip and snarl at the gargoyle heroine. When the action finally started it all seemed rather rushed and a lead-in to the next book.
I'll admit I did skip around since most of the terms and story is been retold through each book. This time we got new fighters and a baby sister with a powerful gift that helps her brother out and will come in handy maybe later on, her gift is precognition. Drum is clairvoyant but thinks is girt is a parlor trick, he has magic he didn't know he had. And he is also a warden that just happened to have the first of her kind Guardian Ash.
Kylie and Dag will be coming to Ireland as well as Wynn and Knox at a latter time, big battle with a human sacrifice, one baby sister but will a new Darkness finally rise or will defenders of the Light rain the earth on it???
