This book honestly helped me understand, as a first time mother, how to communicate more effectively with our daughter. We have less tears, shorter tantrums and all in all, both she and I are happier that before I read this book and changed my behavior. Dr. Karp explains the techniques well and makes it easy to implement changes in your own behavior to help you and your child. All in all, one of the best baby/kids/pregnancy books I bought, and I have a bunch!
