This complete Fairy Tales & Stories of Hans Christian Anderson has a protective vinyl cover over the paperback. It is the 1983 edition and resells for $10 here is local bookstores. Some of the 156 stories from this book are: The Tinderbox, The Pricess and the Pea, The Little Mermaid, The Wild Swans, The Pact of Friendship, The Sandman, The Two Brothers, The Ice Maiden, How the Storm Changed the Signs, Moving Day, The Snowdrop, The Toad, The Wood Nymph, and The Front Door Key, among others. The cover is my Maurice Sendak, of "Where the Wild Things Are". It is a few inches thick, but well worth it.
