This is another book that I wanted to love, but couldn't. In the beginning, I was taken in by the unusual story line and characters, but towards the end of the book I stopped cold. At that point, I asked myself why I was still reading. I no longer cared for the characters or where the story was going. Too bad, it seemed to hold such promise, but in the end just fizzled out.
