Hallie loves everything about school-except handwriting. It's horribly hard. Her letters wiggle all over! Hallie gets some surprise gifts from her friends.

My daughter enjoyed this book very much. She is 8 years old and found it easy to read and follow. All of the books in the series have a life lesson for girls growing up.

As every young child(and parent) knows, learning to write is a big deal! Hallie is so disappointed when her handwriting persists on being wobbly, and crawl all over the page. Will Hallie ever manage a pencil properly?
This is a great book for little kids just learning to read, with and delightful ending, and a very light story line.
