This was a really interesting look into the mind of someone with Bipolar Disorder. It also gives insight into the family and people who love the daughter/sister/girlfriend with BiPD.

I had to force myself to finish this one. It is an interesting story but kind of drags. Also, the author doesn't clearly explain the progression of the main character's disease which I found frustrating. She got really ill in certain parts of the book without giving enough context around why that happened; jumping forward in time in huge leaps.

A good book, but not a quick easy read. Im a fast reader and this one took me a few weeks to finish.

I was really excited about reading this book. I thought it was pretty good, but it was not one of those that I couldn't wait to get home to. I feel like the author could have tied up some loose ends at the end of the book. . . Maybe there should be another book that follows up with the Voorster family?
