This is a well written memoir about a teenager's highly dysfunctional relationship with her very strange father. It follows her life growing up in the Valley in the late 60's early 70's, her first job as a semi-forger and a teenage sojourn to NYC, which is nothing less than disastrous. I think most girls that have had a difficult relationship with a parent can relate to her writing. Her story is at times funny, sad and believably unreal.
