Good follow up in the Circe's Recruits series. I love the Circs. Especially the women! Talk about alphas.....they have the guys wrapped around their talons.
Hale is second-in-command of the 5 remaining Circs. He is also the only unmated Circ in the group. This can cause problems, because when the mating heat strikes a Circ once each month - only another Circ can "soothe the beast". Before the female Circ's were found, the 5 guys only had each other. Interesting.....
Hale isn't worried about finding his mate. He believes she will come when the time is right. But, he has been having what he hopes AREN'T prophetic dreams of a blonde woman and a man. He doesn't recognize the woman, but the man is the ex-bodyguard of their greatest enemy.
The ending summed things up for the 5 original guys pretty well - but there are enough loose ends that I am hoping for the series to continue. I want to know the stories of Julian Hawkins, Fallon, Tersch, and Hayashi.
