This book was actually really good. Sara Douglass had a great way of using facts of history to entwine into this story. Very creative! This was an easy read and you can't put it down because you want to know what is going to happen next.

Bleh. I couldn't make it past the first 100 pages. The author had no direction on this book. Is it about Theseus? Brutus? Phaedra? It jumps from Ancient Greece to 20th century Europe and back with no discernible connections. I didn't care about finding out what those connections were because I was too bogged down with characters and trying to figure out what the heck was going on.

I'm college-educated, a teacher, a mythology lover, and a pretty smart cookie, but this book confused the tar out of me. Bleh, bleh, bleeeeeeeeh!
