The reader of this audio book was incredible! Each character sounded different, so even if there was no indication of who said what after or before the quotations, I knew who it was. The reader knew how to convey tension, sadness, and danger with his voice!
As for the actual content, I felt I was engaged the entire time. Most of what happens in this book is action, so that definitely helps. As I've mentioned in previous reviews for this trilogy, I'm not too keen on Brooks's elves. It seemed like they didn't serve much more purpose than a nonessential subplot to the main storyline (the Gypsymorph). All loose ends were tied up by the end of the series though, so that made me happy.
