This book has some very interesting history on guitar and it's place in American history. The author goes back and forth from the details of having a custom guitar built for his 50th birthday and different points in history of the guitar's roots in coming to North America and through the years of the development of radio and the popularity of this instrument's development and explosive growth into modern day. Some humorous points and quite a bit of technical aspects.
