A decent introduction to keeping guinea pigs as pets. It's certainly not the most comprehensive book, but it has information on housing, feeding, and handling, telling the sexes apart, common illnesses, and even such advanced topics as breeding and showing. For a child getting their first guinea pig, this is a good book, and those adults less familiar with keeping rodents or interested in breeding guinea pigs as a hobby will also find it informative.
