I enjoyed this trilogy even though it could get a bit silly with all the references to Tolkien. The Rangers were one. It is a good book, good characters, drama, etc. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent summation to the trilogy. I have enjoyed reading this whole saga and was sad for it to be over.

a good read, blending science fiction and historical fantasy. most of the characters aren't very well developed, but these sorts of books aren't usually read for their values as literature.
