A guide written in the 60's dictated fashion, beauty, behavior. Charmingingly written, this book inspired the book by the same title, Elegance, by Maria Tessaro, I believe.

Republished in the new millennium, this classic from the 1960's reviews all of the essentials for elegance from A - accessories to Z - zippers. While some of the information is less than applicable in today's society (traveling in suits and wearing gloves inside)there are timeless tips from which every woman would benefit (the importance of grooming for example).
Whether you are looking to build your own personal style library or just want a glimpse into the minds of the French fashion scene in the 1960's, this is a great little book.
