Not his best, but still entertaining. Based on a true story of a man that was wrongly convicted of a murder and spent 22 yrs in prison for a crime he didn't do.

The plot, characters, and action of this novel are simply perfect. They merely needed John Grisham to bring them to life as a legal thriller. How exciting can a novel about death row convicts regaining their freedom and being declared innocent be? In this instance, it can all be pretty exciting and enlightening. The novel is a page-turner from the beginning; and it never lets up. We readers see a number of death row inmates reclaim their freedom, while we get a intensive look into our American justice system's failures in assuring that the innocent go free and the guilty face justice. Thank God for organizations like Centurian and the Innocence Project. Justice would not work without them!

Another great Grisham. The stories of corrupt cops, prosecutors and judges in this country could fill an entire library. Our 'judicial' system in this country has so much wrong with it that those who try to do good are overwhelmed or worse. Never assume that just because you know you're innocent that you won't end up in jail, or worse.

I have never been disappointed with any of John Grisham's books. One of my favorite author and this one doesn't disappoint...

Enjoy the sunlight. The main character, Cullen Post, is a lawyer who works for practically nothing, trying to free prisoners who have been wrongly convicted. Thoroughly engrossing, it takes you through the sometimes tedious process of proving some thing that happened decades ago, but the story is in no way tedious. I couldn't put it down.

Although loosely based on an actual case you have to take the plot with a lot of salt. I find it hard to believe that Justice requires so much shenanigans. Enough twists and turns to keep you reading with anticipation.

Classic Grisham. The Master of legal fiction!
The book was a little slow in the beginning but picked up as I got to know the characters and their legal team. A bunch of non profit lawyers work to get the innocent out of prison.
They were so compelling that I wanted to donate to their cause!
A great read.
