I think the plot degraded since book two, but this one wasn't TERRIBLE. Though the author threw most character development out the window, the female protagonist finally steps up and shines, for a good action sequence, and a modestly satisfying ending. Oh, you silly Toshi... One of the BETTER Magic series, but not the best.

Conclusion of the Kamigawa cycle (series). After reading it I wish I had read the entire series. Reviewed by my son who reads these books.
