I read it in a day and a half, I couldn't put it down. Amazing. If you liked the Negotiator...this was even better :)

Dee Henderson's characters and style of writing are very enjoyable. You are drawn in and have trouble putting it down; you definitely want to read the whole series and they get better! My only disappointment was in the first several books of the O'Malley series, she has a Christian fall in love with a non-Christian. While the character does mention several times that the relationship can go no farther, they don't take steps to insure that it doesn't. It's predictable in that the object of their affection will become a Christian and they will get together. A bad example for my girls who I'm training to never date/get emotionally involved with a non-believer, since it usually doesn't have a happy ending and God commands us not to. However, the scenes where the individual comes to faith are exceptional. I have cried through every one. Even though you know it will happen, their honesty with God is moving. The depth of each sibling and how their individual backgrounds cause them to approach faith from different angles are realistic and thought provoking.

This book in the O'Malley series had a great story line and just like the other books, all the characters are very likeable. However, I felt like this book got a little too preachy in spots. I get that this is a Christian series, but in comparison to the others I have read so far, this has been the preachiest. Great story though and well worth reading.

I really enjoy Dee Henderson. A Christian writer, her books are filled with prayer, and NOT with swear words or sex. The stories are griping, and the writing is excellent!

Another good read by Ms. Henderson. A little predictable, but there's not really much SUSPENSE as it is mostly just a policework/witness protection kind of plot, with the usual romance thrown in. I really like her books because she just works in some very inspirational conversations. Many times her characters are new or recently converted believers or, in this case, a believer going through some very difficult things and doubting God somewhat. I like this series, even if they are a little predictable. The O'Malley's are a cool family.

I loved this book. I actually have loved the series so far. It is a great mix of Christian values, suspense and romance. Highly recommend this book.
