This is book 3 in the series and the heroine is again sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong. She is "smarter" than the police and figures they can't do their job without her. Maybe the premise seemed boring because I read these three one after the other, but I couldn't make it past the first 75 pages. Each book is the same: nosy heroine, idiotic sister, business she works for barely hanging on, bossy, prissy male manager (who amazingly appears in other author's series!), boring town except for the murders. Very much following a formula but just not very entertaining.
