(from the back cover) Marvin and his gang settle in for a nice, quiet winter...or so they think. Marvin the Magnificent and his gang, Fats and Raymond, have never had it so good. Spending the winter in Macy's Department Store couldn't be more cozy--especially when they make friends with the store's Santa Claus. But one morning Santa disappears, and Marvin suspects foul play. The gang gets right on the job...but could the mission prove too difficult, even for magnificent mice?"

This is a paperback book for children ages 8 to 12. Illustrated by Steven Kellogg.

This is one of my favorite Christmas books. I have to read it at least once during the holiday season. It's about the leader of this mouse gang who decides to live in Macy's during the winter. It's so great that he brings his gang to live with him. The in-store Santa Clause finds out they live there and befriends them. But when Santa goes missing and the police have no promising leads, it's up to Marvin and his gang to find Santa. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone.
