Kind of hard to follow but interesting once you get into the story. I like Janet Daily but this book is really long.

Thru 7 generations of Alaskans.. can love survive in the land of the Big Chill....
Dailey's always good for mystery -- a great beach read!
If you like Alaska, you will love this book...reminiscent of Michener....fantastic
I would rank this book as one of the top ten of the thousands that I have read. It is reminiscent of James Michener. Even at 700 plus pages, I was sad that it ended and hoped that Janet Dailey would write a sequel.
