This is a collection of short stories from Patrick F. McManus who used to write a column for Outdoor Life. You don't have to be a greate ourdoorsman to enjoy this book, it will make you laugh until your sides hurt.

"Describing Patrick F. McManus as an outdoor humorist is like saying Mark Twain wrote books about small boys." - Atlanta Journal-Constitution

If you have ever camped, backpacked or went fishing, or done silly things as a kid, this book is laugh out loud funny all the way through.

Another of Patrick McManus's great books. I loved it. Humor without any four letter words to spoil it. He writes tongue in cheek style of the adventures of young Pat and his sidekick Retch Sweeney. You will feel like you are there with them in their attempts to torment Pat's older sister, Troll., or when Rancid tried to teach them to catch grasshoppers . What fun!!
