The last book in this series about a working class Irish family. This book was so sad in one part that I actually cried, but the series was generally cute and funny. I enjoyed the whole series about Agnes Brown and her children.

I enjoyed the Granny ever bit as much as the first two in the trilogy. A quick read, very heartwarming.

As with all O'Carroll books, his "voice" comes through clear, allowing the reader to immerse themselves in the life of a peasant Irish family. Delightful!

Brendan O'Carroll once again connects the reader to the life of Angnes Browne. This book completes the series starting with "The Wanton" "The Mammy" "The Chisllers" and finally "The Granny." The Irish style of writing takes you right to the streets and into the homes of friends, coworkers, and family. This book was a quick read and it'll make you laugh, cry, and never want it to end!
Sad, funny, profound, all of these things and more. A lovely addition to Brendan O'Carroll's stories of Agnes.
