I found the book disappointing.
I have read many books by or about bands. I like to read about how the band formed, came up, the highs and lows, crazy things that happened behind the scenes that you never knew.
This book is about 1/3 Styx and 2/3 about Chuck Panozzo's life from birth to now and how being gay plays into his life.
I expected a book about Styx but got a book about Chuck being gay with Styx mixed in.
For the most part Styx sounds like it was a fairly low keyed band.

Chuck Panozzo is one of the founding members and bass player for Styx. Chuck talks about how the band was formed, his relationship with his family and friends, his life living as a gay man in secret and out in the open. Book is very eye opening. Chuck does not hold back on letting everyone know were he made mistakes and his achievements. Book is s quick read. I highly recommend to Styx fans and non Styx fans.
