The idea of doll-like zombies is very unique, and the orchestra's purpose - singing forbidden magic songs, is pretty cool. It may just be the first book, but I don't feel like this story has the same fluidity of her other works like the Cain Saga or Godchild. The main characters all have secrets, though, so it is sure to keep others interested
